Chernobyl Finish

Background We decided to contact CCP with the proposal for a solar water heating system for one of their projects in Belarus. We were involved from the early design stage right up to commissioning of the system.

It will act as a showcase for a renewable energy solution for large buildings in Belarus & beyond.

- 'Offering hope to live' -

We are privileged to have been involved in this project.

Schema

How does it work?

Solar energy in conjunction with the latest in wood heating technology provides a costeffective solution to fight climate change and reduce dependency on imported, polluting & expensive fossil fuels. The solar collectors are providing most of the service hot water demand of the centre throughout the year with any excess feeding into the large buffer tanks as a heat store for the radiator system. The very efficient wood gasification boiler acts as the main heat source for space heating and provides back-up to the solar system for service hot water provision.
